2024 SAINT GOBAIN ARCHITECTURE STUDENT CONTEST_SOUTH KOREA

건축분야에서 기후 변화에 대응하고 탄소 발자국을 줄이기 위한 창의적인 디자인 솔루션을 찾는 것이 어느 때보다 중요한 시기이다. 이 공모전은 건물이 환경에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 최소화하고 사용자의 건강 및 공공성을 추구하는 지속 가능한 미래를 향한 혁신적인 아이디어를 모색하는 것을 목표로 한다.

이 국제 학생 공모전은, 지속 가능한 건축 자재와 환경 친화적 기술의 발전을 주도해온 프랑스 Saint-Gobain이 2005년부터 주최해 왔다. 고려대학교 건축학과는 2019년부터 Saint-Gobain Korea와 협력하여 매년 학생들을 위한 환경 관련 워크숍과 국내 공모전을 주관하고 있다.

이 공모전은 두 단계로 구성되어 있으며, 첫 번째 단계인 국내 공모전에서 선발된 학생들은 2024년 6월 10일~12일 핀란드 헬싱키에서 열리는 국제 경연에 참가할 기회를 얻는다. 고려대학교 학생들은 이전에 2019년 밀란에서 특별상(4위)과 2023년 리스본에서 1등 상을 수상한 바 있다.

In the field of architecture, it is more crucial than ever to find creative design solutions to address climate change and reduce carbon footprints. This competition aims to seek innovative ideas for a sustainable future, focusing on minimizing the negative impact of buildings on the environment while enhancing user health and public benefits.

This international student competition has been hosted by Saint-Gobain of France since 2005, a leader in developing sustainable building materials and environmentally friendly technologies. Since 2019, the Department of Architecture at Korea University has collaborated with Saint-Gobain Korea to organize annual environmental workshops and domestic competitions for students.

The competition is divided into two stages. Students selected from the first domestic stage will have the opportunity to participate in the international contest held in Helsinki, Finland, from June 10 to 12, 2024. Previously, students from Korea University have won the Special Prize (4th place) in Milan in 2019 and the 1st Prize in Lisbon in 2023.
