고려대학교 건축학과

고려대학교 건축학과는 연구중심 대학으로서 대학원의 연구 활동이 강조되고 있다. 본 학과의 대학원은 건축환경계획-건축 디자인-건축계획 및 공간행태-도시계획 및 도시설계-건축역사-건축문화유산-건축환경 및 에너지시스템 등 건축의 다양한 분야를 아우르는 연구실을 통해서 왕성한 연구 활동을 하고 있다. 대학원의 연구 활동은 각 교과목의 교육내용으로 이어질 뿐만 아니라 연구실에서 진행하는 연구프로젝트 및 행사에 대한 학부생 및 대학원생들의 참여를 통해 교육과 연구가 함께 이루어지도록 권장하고 있다.

 

대학원 과정은 아래의 두 개의 전공으로 이루어져있고, 대학원 지원 시 아래의 두 개 전공 중 하나를 선택하여 지원하며, 각 전공별로 연구실과 지도교수를 선택하여 지원한다. 건축계획학전공 (Architectural Planning)은  Architecture Study에서, 도시계획 및 도시설계전공 (Urban Planning and Urban Design)은 Urban Study에서 각각 연구실 및 지도교수에 대한 내용을 확인할 수 있다.

As a research-oriented university, Korea University's Department of Architecture emphasizes research activities of the graduate school. The graduate school of this department conducts vigorous research activities through the labs of various fields in architecture, such as architectural environment planning, architectural design, architectural planning and spatial behavior, urban planning and urban design, architectural history, architectural cultural heritage, architectural environment and energy system. The research activities of the graduate school not only lead to the educational contents of each course, but also encourage learnings and research to be carried out together through the participation of undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and events conducted in the labs.

 

The graduate school program consists of the following two majors. Students who wish to apply for graduate school should choose one of the two majors, and select a lab and advisor for each.
