Prof. Kwang Ho Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, and until 2011 he completed postdoc and research specialist positions at the University of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. In March 2011, he joined the Department of Architectural Engineering, Hanbat National University. After being associate professor, he served as department head for two years from March 2016. In the past five years, 20 papers have been published as corresponding authors in SCI(E) indexed journals such as Energy and Buildings. Since 2013, he has served as the Chair of Working Group 17 of the International Standards Organization(ISO) TC 163 committee and is responsible for the establishment of international standards for the measurement of thermal performance of windows and doors. In 2016, he received an emerging professor award for the Society of Air conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy’s Commendation for 2017 World Standard Day. In 2020, he was elected as a new member of the Young Korean Academy of Science and Technology (Y-KAST), a group of young scientists who will lead the future of the Korean science and technology.
